FOR MIXING SERVICES

(Refer to the following video if you get confused.)

1)  Consolidate specific instrument sections of the song like "Verse Guitar", "Chorus Vocals", "Verse Piano", etc. onto one SINGLE track. For instance, you may have created three separate tracks in your DAW to record the guitar in the first chorus, second chorus and third chorus, but these will all need to be placed onto ONE SINGLE TRACK labeled "Chorus Guitar". 

 

2) Properly label all tracks. For instance, if you have a track that says "Audio 1" anywhere in your track listing this will need to be changed to identify what is actually on this track. Instruments should be clearly labeled  like "Lead Guitar", "Doubled Vocal", "Vocal Harmony 1", "Intro Piano", etc.

3) Crossfade all edits and consolidate ALL clips or regions to have the same start point.

 

4) Please create a bounce of your current mix to a single stereo WAV. file, and clearly label that as the "Rough Mix.".

 

5) Make sure ALL plugins are disabled. However, if there are effects you want to keep and are crucial to the sound of an individual track, keep them on there. Just be aware that keeping plugins engaged will limit what we can achieve. I would recommend ALL plugins be disabled and that you trust us to recreate the vibe you want by referencing what you have on your original "Rough Mix".

6) Export all of your tracks as audio files. If you are unsure how to do this please refer to the following video on exporting stems. 

 

7) Click HERE to upload your files to Dropbox. Include the BPM, sample rate, album name and track listing (if applicable).

 

8) Click HERE to fill out the required "PRE-MIX QUESTIONNAIRE".

FOR MASTERING SERVICES

​

2) Create a single stereo WAV. file of the song you want mastered.

3) Click HERE to upload a stereo WAV. file of your song to Dropbox. Include the artist name, song name, sample rate, album name and track listing (if applicable).
